Skyeland did not begin in a lab. It began in a clinic.
Long before there was The Ritual Balm, there was a treatment room. SHÈN, a holistic healthcare practice in Bozeman, Montana, co-founded by two women who had spent their careers helping the body heal, regulate, and restore itself.
Katie Malone is an acupuncturist and licensed practitioner of Chinese medicine, with a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM, a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, and additional training from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in oncology acupuncture.
Her work draws from an ancient system rooted in the body’s own intelligence, its ability to rebalance, repair, and return to wholeness when given the right conditions.
Dr. Makena Hofer is a chiropractor and sports medicine doctor, holding a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Western States. Her clinical approach is patient centered, evidence based, and grounded in neurocentric, movement focused care.
Together, they spent years treating real women, supporting them through stress, hormonal shifts, fatigue, burnout, inflammation, and the realities of modern life.
Skyeland is what happens when two healthcare practitioners decide beauty without compromise should exist.
Every formula is handcrafted in small batches in Montana alongside chemists and chemical engineers trained in both U.S. and European cosmetic standards. Ingredients are ethically sourced and selected for both potency and provenance, chosen with intention rather than trend.
Packaging is equally considered. We use Miron violet glass to help preserve formulation integrity while reducing unnecessary waste through durable, reusable design.
